In 2006, single mother, Brianne Day, took a leap of faith. She sold everything she owned, traveled through famous wine regions and gathered knowledge of viticulture that she would use to start her own winery. She took that experience and returned to Oregon with a plan, and that plan came to fruition in 2012 with Day Wines.
Comprised of 61% Chardonnay 21% Sauvignon Blanc 18% Chenin Blanc, this is an intentional blend of complimentary flavors. It's bright, textured, fruity and floral. This medium acid wine shows off ripe stone fruit, juicy mango, lemongrass, cut lawn, and springy white blossom. The flavors combine on the palate and is complemented by a soft texture, thanks in part to 5-year-old French Oak barrel fermentation.
Brianne creates with minimal intervention, letting the fruit speak for itself. Therefore, this wine is very much suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
